刘振岭,高鸿萍,安亚平,王志华,何福生,刘秀萍,李冠起,王海生,王新武,武春生,孙志强,韩志德,龙小媛,徐元国剧情讲述金兵铁蹄践踏中原，智性在战火中失去双亲，成了孤儿，被云游各地的高僧行癫搭救，一同来到报国寺。智性进入寺院，削发为僧，取法号苦行僧，在觉远大师抚养下，练就一身高超的武功。但寺中戒律僧视他为孽障，不让他进入罗汉堂。智性无奈只好告辞众僧，只身隐居山林，与猴群为伍，和苍鹰作伴。他带枷在悬崖峭壁上采药，几年苦练，又练成一套超群的绝技。国难当前，金兵大举入侵中原，荼毒生灵。在金兵辱杀寺内众僧的时候，他挺身而出，赶走了金兵，却被戒律僧以触犯戒律意欲严惩。智性与戒律僧狭路相逢，激战于崖顶。交手数回合后，智性不慎失足，跌下深渊。戒律僧以为智性必死无疑。孰料智性大难不死，被李家庄李大伯搭救，并得到乔扮男装屡次救过他的美貌女子赵襄的精心照料。金兵奸细施乍打探到智性住在李大伯家养伤，便引金兵前来血洗李家庄。赵襄与智性将计就计，诱敌深入，率义军在庄外打下埋伏，击退金兵，除掉施乍。义军乘胜追击，将围困批国寺的金兵赶下山，救出寺内众僧及百姓，报国寺重获安宁。
